Kevin Ruljancich obtained his undergraduate dental qualification at the University of Melbourne in 1971. His specialist training was also undertaken in Melbourne and he then did further training at Mount Vernon Hospital in London UK.
In 1978 Kevin returned to Melbourne and established a private practice which has now become Melbourne Oral and Facial Surgery (MOFS). Kevin has held specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon appointments at the Austin Hospital and the Royal Melbourne Dental Hospital.
His special interest is dental implants, especially the management of the associated hard and soft tissues reconstruction.

The thing Kevin finds most enjoyable about his work is the satisfaction that comes from being able to help his patients to improve the quality of their lives.
In his spare time Kevin is a cricket ‘tragic’ and still plays regularly. If Kevin were not a doctor, he would be an architect as he has an abiding interest in design and functionality.
Kevin served as the President of the Australian & New Zealand Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons from 1991 -1993.
He has published a number of papers in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery literature.
